As real as you are: bring it on.
Pitch your stories.

Being Trans: Journeys is a space for lived experiences written by trans and gender-diverse people.

It’s community-led and centres storytelling, reflection, and personal narratives, the kind that follow your journey of self-discovery, transition, activism, or community building. You don’t need to be an expert to contribute. You just need to share your experience as if you’re passing a note to someone younger than you, offering lessons, warmth, or encouragement from what you’ve been through. Your story should be at least 500 words long.

Submission Process

Take time to understand our editorial requirements before submitting your story.

Share your story idea (not the full version!) through our submission form.

Our BeingTrans editorial team will contact you to discuss your pitch and provide feedback.

Once your pitch is approved, you’ll be guided through the editorial process to submit your final story.
